The North Carolina Arts Council announced new opportunities for local artists on Wednesday. Included were performing arts, visual arts, crafting, film, and more. If you’re looking to continue developing your skills then these might be a good fit for you.

The Arts Council focuses on education, grants, economic development, and leadership within the local communities. I found their Instagram to be interesting as well. I did some research on their website and discovered that they have started work on a Smart Initiative to revitalize downtown areas and neighborhoods with the goal to add more local art displays, museums, theaters, and art centers for study.
